Here at Mud Hog, we’ve received dozens of calls asking us whether or not it’s a good idea to transfer a Mud Hog rear-wheel drive axle from one combine to another. Given that every Mud Hog hydraulic rear-wheel drive system is engineered to fit one specific combine model, we feel it necessary to explain the risks involved with installing a rear-wheel drive axle on a machine for which it was not intended.
